Daisy Protection Tour

An overview of the 2008 PBF Protection Tours, which will be divided into to the Premier Daisy Tour and the Qualifying TwoBulls Tour. The Daisy Tour will consist of Level 1 & 2 events, the TwoBulls Tour will consist of Level 3 & 4 events. 

Level 2

Events that have $2,500 or more in added money.
Entry fees $500 per team
Contestants at this level are may compete in Level 3, Level 2, and Level 1 events for which they meet eligibility requirements. 
Points gained count toward the world championship. 

Level 1

Events that have a minimum of $ 10,000 in added money.
Entry fees (determined by event producer)
Contestants must meet special requirements to qualify. 
Reigning world champion team  (seeded)
Previous year’s defending event champions (seeded)
Current years Level 2 event champions (seeded)
Top money winners from Level 2 events from 2008.
Remaining competition positions filled by criteria set by event producer and PBF

PBF Daisy Protection Tour World Championships

• Contestants must compete at a minimum of four (4) PBF Daisy Tour events to qualify for the World Championships.
• The top 5 point earning teams from the PBF Daisy Tour will qualify for the World Championships.  (Points based on both team members combined points)
• Should enough events be added during the year to allow all contestants to compete at a seventh or more event, those events will also be counted toward the World Championships.  

While the events will involve competitions between teams, money and points will be figured for individuals.  This enables bullfighters to accommodate their individual schedules with those of the tour as well as taking into account the various occurrences that may require teams to split up such as injury, conflicting schedules, or the team simply breaking up. 
All bullfighters on The PBF Daisy Protection Tour 2008 will be required to have training in the PBF judging system before they will be allowed to compete in the world championships regardless of what they have won during the year. 

Point System

The world championship contestants will qualify based on points earned at their six (6) events (or more should more events be added to the official total). Championship pints will be earned as follows:

• First overall event, 300 points
• Second overall event, 270 points
• Third overall event, 240 points

• First in go-round, 100 points
• Second in go-round,  90 points
• Third in go-ound, 80 points
• Events with four or more go-rounds will award ½ points in rounds

Bonus Points

• 25 points - consecutive entry with same partner.
• For each consecutive event a team enters with same partner
• Starts at second event entered and continues up to but not including semifinals and world championships.
• Only counts at Daisy Tour events counting toward world championships.
• 25 points – high point bullfight of event
• 25 points – MVP award
